I am flying MCO-MIA-MBJ on 12/9/06. I have been told by VH that these flights will be taken with AA and they have given me the depature/arrival times for each leg of the trip. I was interested to see which a/c type we would be travelleing on so I lookjed on the AA website.....No such flights for said times..Hmmm.. Then I looked on Expedia.com for those flights with any airline for those times, again nothing matching. Im hoping VH have made a mistake here and we are flying at a different time during that day. Tickets arrive anytime now so im anxious to see what they say.

Well now that is a very politically unsensitive comment to make
to danxisqn who is located in Northern Ireland ;)

Daniel,

What are the flight numbers you have been given for these connecting flights? That will help pin-point whats going on.

Thanks,
Sarah

Well thank you for the info Robert. I did not click his username to get his profile.

My comment was not directed at him personally and hold no political messgae. danzisqn, Robert and all other I; am sorry for any harm or confusion I may have caused. I do thank danxisqn for serving the RAF who did put on a kicka@# show at the Farnborough Airshow. :)

My reply is aimed at many persons I come across who think Jamaica, The Bahamas and other smaller islands south of FL are part of the United States. They simply are not, (warning, sorta political) more British, be it you normally can spend the greenback.

I would suggest that danxisqn call VH or AA to see what is up. Say you have a friend that works at MIA that you want to say hello to during the connection and need to plan the day out. There is a good Cuban sandwish shop near the AA check in landside BTW. Ahhh, mcmbenjamin airport food suggestions again.

Again sorry but I hope you understand my point.

Hey, No worries! Easy mistake to make. Funny you should mention the Farnborugh Air Show. I was there this year, howeber the previous night we positioned our Puma helicopter for the following days display, turned out our only participation this year would be a static stand because we left our heli in the hands of a civillian company for towing, unfortuantly they forgot to release the wheel brakes prior to the tow, thus the wheel fire and the unservicable aircraft.

Anyway, as it stands I dont my tickets yet so I have no idea on the flight numbers. I have called Thomas Cook who I booked my VH through, all the information they have is that my flights are with AA departing MCO for MIA at 16:24 12/09/06. The tickets are in transit to me at the moment, im just a little concerned that I cannot find an AA flight for those times on that day, if anyone is interested the times follow:

12/09/06
(d)MCO 16:24 (a)MIA 17:25
(d)MIA 18:20 (a)MBJ 18:56

Cheers All..

This has happened to us on a couple of times when we booked internals with VH. The trouble is that they load the flight times months in advance and US airlines are notorious for changing flight times so it could well be you are on a completely different flight number and time.

I was starting to think this to be the case. I noticed before VH used VS for the LGW-MBJ run they were using JM for LHR-MBJ and MAN-MBJ, so I even looked on thier website to see if I could find the flights....no joy!

Tickets Arrived!! As suspected no tickets or mention of my internal flights in the VH pack up (lots of offers for disney tickets tho) Following a phonecall to VH I am having my tickets posted to me direct (missing out Thomas Cook). also as suspected, I am flying the same route but at completely different times. I am pleased its sorted now, someone who may not have been as observant may have found themselves stranded half way through thier holiday.

If I would you I would check on the airline websites as they really do love to change their departure times lately just to make sure you leave plenty of time so you don't have to rush through.

I have got my internal tickets through now from VH, that was two days ago. this morning I have now recieved more tickets for the wife and I for the exactly the same flights. I have compared the two lots of tickets and they have different reference numbers, Im wondering if they have paid AA twice?
