VS Sale?

I see that BA have started their sale yesterday and normally VS aren't far behind. When I checked their website there is only one on fares to the US. Is there likely to be a sale on fares to the caribean at all and if so when is it as I am after going to either NAS or HAV this winter?

Also what is the bets fare you can normaly get in UC on these routes?

Any help appreciated.

You are correct about VS tracking BA. However the BA sale is not getting a hugely excited response with the BA fans over on Flyertalk.com, with them pointing to extensive blackout dates, and lack of availablity of the sale fares. This will be known to VS too, so they may not respond at all, or if they do it perhaps would be pretty muted.

The BA Sale is a bit too much hot air to really need much further comment.
HAV and NAS sale fares have just been released though so if you're looking at these routes the usual VS channels and Preferred Agencies will have these by now.

The E - Mail from Tavelocity arrived last night about the BA Sale, when I logged on to the Web Site there was a tab with VS Offers on as well.

ISTR that there's an upper class sale about once a year. Anyone know when this may appear (roughly, based on previous years experience)? Ta.

Sale fares can come out at any time in Upper depending on route needs/ other carriers fares/ seasonality.

But generally for most airlines the big sales are
Post Xmas... usually the biggest seat sale of the year. Used to be 2 Jan, but now often 26 Dec the fares are released and heavilly marketed in the weekend papers.
Post Summer... depending on routes.
Post 'Events'... ie anything in the world that causes a downturn would usually be followed by significant sales.

Vs had a brilliant sale over the BH weekend I know someone who got seats at £114 pp no tax

Some have dropped more than £50[y].
We bought tickets in the last sale [:?] which ended on 23rd August, identical flights/dates are now £80 cheaper

To where? No tax or including tax? There is no getting around payings your taxes, maybe that VS did it for them but I doubt it[8D]

Nah, I can't have that, I've picked up WT+ for £581pp inc. taxes return 05 Apr - 08 Apr (Easter) MAN-JFK, I think that's a damn good fare.

LOL, VS didn't want to compete with that fare from London and obviously they don't operate that route from MAN so BA it is. The MAN 767 had a refit earlier this year too so I'm looking forward to trying it, I used hate flying that route on the battered 767 they were operating.
