Hi,
Just booked two econ flights MCO-JFK (one-way)for £35.80 each with Delta.
I think they earn miles.
How do we ensure we get the miles, there was nowhere to put our FC numbers on the booking form.

Thanks in advance,
Tim & Chris

Nick now you're Gold, if you still ahve the BP's, call Premier and fax them over tothem, they should assist with the credit of the miles.

Some partners are much better than others.

Thanks,
Richard

NN: Looks like that page is dated. When making a DL booking on delta.com the user cannot enter a VS FC number. You have either call the 800 number (good luck with all that) or e-mail them. Now if you checkin in some DL stations in NY state the agent will know that VS is a earning partner but others will not enter the number because that lack the knowledge.

VS: ACJ and Delta Express have been gone for well over two years. Keep you site up to date. Hahahahaha :) Funny stuff

We booked DL flights on Expedia and it allowed us to enter our VS FC numbers, have just looked at our booking (on Expedia) and the FC numbers still show fine. Using the PNR Expedia issued I can also access the booking on delta.com and but no sign of VS FC details. We weren't going to use check-in at LAS, just the kerbside back drop, I guess I need to ring DL to get our details added? Alternatively I suppose I could just keep the boarding pass stubs and ask VS to sort out on our return?

I bet they are there if Expedia added your number. My FC number is not with my booking online on DL.com

I would shoot them an e-mail with your PNR and FC numbers but I bet you are save. Always better to sort it out before the flight. Calling Delta can fun...Better than UA

My flights earlier in the year on DL to Vegas were booked through Expedia. I did the same - entered my FC number at the time of booking and had no problems with the miles being credited. Details of my FC number didn't appear anywhere on the DL site, but when I checked in it was on my boarding card.

Thanks for the tip Ben. I'm most impressed with DL customer service, having emailed them yesterday I received this reply overnight >>

Thank you for your e-mail regarding Delta's SkyMiles program.

Our records indicate, your Virgin Atlantic Flying Club numbers has
already been added to the reservation. The mileage will be
automatically
credited to your account after travel has taken place.

We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you on your next
Delta flight.

Sincerely,

Very odd though that you can't add (or indeed even see your VS FC numbers) if you book direct with DL, but you can if through Expedia [?]
