Hi,
Tried to introduce to family members via the ecard system but the emails have never arrived. One is a BT Yahoo account and the other is a Hotmail account.
Is it a case of keep trying till an email comes through or is there a larger problem with the system?

I have introduced a few friends via Miles More Friends & all the e-card emails arrived - some near instantly. The people I introduced were on a variety of different email addresses, including one btopenworld / btyahoo one, a hotmail one & a few "work" email addresses, so the e-cards passed through corporate firewalls no problem.

Get your friend on a btopenworld / btyahoo email address to sign onto their webmail from the btyahoo homepage & check their "Bulk" folder, just in case the e-card has been filtered into there as possible spam.

I actually have access to one of the web emails and nothing arrived, either in the inbox or the bulk email.
This is not the first time this has happened either.

I think this may of been discussed before also with somebody else having similar problems...... and after a quick search here is the other thread.

Our works email put the ecard for MMF referal into its spam folder and I had to get our IT guy to manually allow it to my work mates email. My gmail account did not block it but I know a the other halfs hotmail account put it in the "junk" folder, so it seems their is no specific pattern and no actual answer or solution.

Neil:)

Edited to add the link to the old thread

Which reminds me..... [^]where's my miles![^]

My "miles more friend" has made his outward journey now. Do I need to wait for him to make his return journey before I get my grubby hands on those miles?

I hope he doesn't fall in love in Mumbai or something[:?]

I have double and triple checked and there is nothing in the Spam, Bulk or Junk folders. Same thing happened when I tried to send an invitation to the Mrs.

Yes, is the simple answer. You will get your miles when you friend has completed the return leg of his trip. I have always had the miles credited within days of that return happening so you shouldn't have to wait long afterwards.

Just as an update, I managed to get one family member signed up but I have been unable to send another Ecard. We even set up a new email address on Yahoo and, despite half a dozen attempts, nothing has shown up at all. Emailed Customer Service a few days back but no reply as yet.
I have only introduced 2 people so I cannot be beyond my limit.
