G-VROC is back at LHR as of today - She is currently operating the VS19 to SFO.

She operated LGW-BGI for 3 consecutive days earlier in the week. G-VAST is the a/c that has been out of service, last seen in MAN on 03/09. The other 7 LGW/MAN aircraft have all been in operating as usual this week.

All a/c back at their pre-assigned bases as of today. :D

Top info, thanks. As mentioned in another thread, with VS cancelling a few flights ex LGW/MAN, mainly to MCO, it should see normallity return a bit with LHR a/c back operating their usual routes.

I could have sworn we had ROC returning from LA. Okay, new question, which 744 at LHR doesn't or didn't have v:port at this time?[:?][:I]

Actually, on second thoughts, it could have been G-VXLG - any thoughts?[:I] When did this go to LGW/MAN?

Think it must have been - see here

P.S. Feel really annoyed with myself for forgetting something like this[V]

Your right, G-VXLG only went to LGW config in around June/July time, we came back on here from JFK in March and was a wee bit disapointed to have got the only non V-Port plane at LHR, but no chance now.

Yes it would have been G-VXLG, she has been the only LHR 744 running without V-Port in recent times.

She was re-assigned to LGW ready for the start of the MBJ route on 01/07...[y]

Mustang Sally departed from LGW on Aug 13th, when VS19 was moved from LHR to LGW due to the BAA flight restrictions. I checked in as normal, and had to wait many hours for a bus to Gatwick.

I guess it's not uncommon for the LHR 747s to turn up at Gatwick from time to time.

How do they decide who gets the opup? Is it first to check in or first to book?

airline status is the key, put opup in the search box, there are many threads on the subject.
