Checked luggage problem

I have just checked my suitcase. According to the VA web page your baggage allowance must not be bigger than 158 cm when adding the length depth and height. Mine is 4 cm over this is it going to be a problem?

Check out this thread by another member that is pretty much the same enquiry as your own.

The bottom line is really a case of 'technically the suitcase is oversized, but realistically it is very unlikely it will be a problem'

Concern is about weight for checked bag and weight/size of cabin bag (size being a new BAA requirement). Size of checked bag is flexible unless it is of a funny shape or is really large.
