Serious question ... i have an absolute phobia about the stuff, so much so that its not allowed in our house :) No way i can eat things that have been wrapped in the stuff. Anyway .. enough of my strange ways ...

Oh well, looks like another reason i *have* to fly Upper :D

Thanks,
Sarah

Some people have a fetish for cling film which is wierd, lol.

I actually thought the pics of that food look yucky and would probably prefer it in the original tray.

Clearly my amenity kit is paying for the new crockery in order that VA can compete with First Choice and TCD

I think that it is nice to have a few service items that distinguish Premium from Economy. I personally think that the food on offer is pretty good, but it's nice to have it on proper ceramic bowls. rather the the cheap looking plastic that is currently given out. I hope that along with the new Super Seat and food trials, we will see more changes to the Premium service.

I think that this is definitely an improvement[y]

However, it is a bit sad that VS actually has to work to stay ahead of the charter sector now[n]

When I flew in Y back in June on Austria Airlines SYD>KUL>SYD, their Y meals were severed in similar china dishes with metal eating irons as well.

Just shows what some airlines can do. Are they making a profit though?[?]

I guess not, as they are pulling their KUL/SYD + MEL/SIN routes from March 2007.
