Just my opinion having spent many hours planyed in seats in BA,Eva and VS premium economy I would say that the old VS seats were the best, the old Eva deluxe class was a very nice, cheap upgrade from Y.

WT+ is good 'cept that the legrest doesn't come up enough to support my legs.

Is it a possibility that the reason they dont have footrest on the test seats is because they are on the front row? No Airbus has footrests on the front row ! Only leg rests.

But I dont recall seeing footrests on any airline economy seat? and premium is after all an economy seat but with legroom. there has never been any promise to guarantee footrests.

I know that EK used to (I'm not sure about now) have foot-rests in Y on their 777s. They were pretty much the same as the foot-rests in W on the A343s.

And I know BA have footrests on their 777 and B744 fleet in Y class too (although just the flip down kind)

Are you sure about that? I knew they had footrests in WT+ but I didn't think they had them in WT.

Some time has passed since this thread was last posted on. Does anyeone know what the current PE Seats are on LGW/Man 747's - we're bound for Jamaica next month. Despite the better service in the bubble, as a family of 5 (2Ad; 2ch; 1inf) the centre 4 seats downstairs might be better for us. I would like to know what the diff in seats is like between the bubble + main deck, leaving aside the issue of service. Thanks in advance for your help.

Doh! Thanks Neil - I had searched "PE Seats" whereas that was "PE Seating". So, older more comfortable PE seats it is then :) Thanks for your help. [y]

No probs here to help. The search function can be quite tricky, got to be specific but not too specific, i use my memory as my search engine a fair bit!

Going upstairs is a good idea actually, as you can always pop the infant on the lid of the side-bin - I've seen people do this before.

I thought for a minute then Mike you were going to say you could put the infant inside the bin[:0][:I]
