Excellent news - do like the sound of the new PE product, as it is my main level of travel I'm happy with the improvements.

So far just A346s currently with LHR 744s and A343s shortly to be refitted and LGW/MAN 744s afterwards.

Does anyone know if all aircraft will be upgraded? I have flown on the A346 but am hoping that the B744 will also get the new seats. The press release does not say specifically.

Here's a handy annotated image of the new seats, so you can see what to expect!

Thanks for the update V-Ben & Pete[^][y]

It looks really good.

Have another question, hope someone can help. How can I check what specific aircraft is going to be used on a specific route/day (I am sure that no one can guarantee it due to operational reasons).

Flying to JNB in Nov and know that they use the 346 on this route, would be great if one or both of the flights were in the new PE.

Thanks

LoveFlying, check out the 'What plane will i be on?' question in this thread. Also, it is probably best to start a new thread with your own question as opposed to tagging it on to this one.

Thanks,
Sarah

It is impossible to know which a/c is going to operate which route on a specific day, this feature will give you a rough idea of which a/c has been operating the route but I am afraid there is no answer to your question.

My Dad really disliked the new seat, but then he's not the biggest fan of UCS either[:0] Doesn't -VBLU also have the new seats?

I really like the look of them. I wonder how long it will be before it's the turn of the 744's?

Good question. Any staffers have a 'guesstimate' of completion date for the roll-out.

Yes, this is a purely mercenary question - PE ex-MCO next May :D
