Which is best seat to have when travelling as a couple in upper class on an A340-600?

Would it be facing each other as in 9G and 9k or would it be easier to talk to each other in 9k and 10k?

By the way the wife and I are flying UC to Dubai on 7th of December and returning UC from Dubai on the 14th of December. So if anyone fancies taking advantage of our admit 2 Guest's facility in the clubhouse please let me know.

Could put your flight in the itineraries section - then others will see that you are flying on the same day as them and of course your offer.

I found it better to be next to each other so 9k and 10k. While it is a little difficult to communicate when you are both seated, its easier than shouting across the aisle. Anyway the best plan is to use the ottoman and have drinks and dinner together, a very good way to pass the time.

Thanks very much for that N.Man will use the ottoman as suggested but donÕt want to be sat there for a whole 6 hr flight.

See here for more info on seat ratings:)

I'd go for 9 and 10K, especially if you're quite tall.

fyi

we booked 9a and 10a to Sydney - three months in advance and checked a few times leading up the flight, only to find out when we checked in (online checkin was down!!!) that they moved us and split us up!!! The misses wasn't overly happy. Sorted it in the end, but still, the seat selection is not a sure thing, so always best to check the day before!

I have now updated my booking to Dubai and as a treat I am taking the outlaws with us so there are now 4 invites for guests going free on 7th of December, we will be arriving at check in for about 15:00hrs. If anyone is flying that day please donÕt hesitate to private message me.
