Which aircraft type on VS023/024?

Please could somebody confirm which aircraft type is used on VS23/24. When I looked on the 'which aircraft?' section it states that VS23/24 is an A343, but elsewhere it seems to be indicated as an A346.

It tends to run as either. If the VS7/8 is a B744, then the 23/24 tends to be the A343. If you are looking for V-Port, go for the VS7/VS8, as you are more likely to get it.

If you look here it shows the VS23/24 as operated only by the A346 (either config 1 or 2) but never the A343, and as juliet has said the VS7/8 is nearly always operated by the 744's, so whichever fligt you take it will 99.9% be on a V-Port a/c.

Not sure where you found your info saying that the A343 operate the VS23/24, but it seems to be incorrect.

VS23/24 was operated solidly by an A343 upto the winter timetable change last year. As Neil says since then it has been operated by an A346 regulary.

I wouldn't worry about the chances of getting a A343 - You would be very, very unlucky if it happens.

So it does - however when you actually look at the 3 month history it shows as 100% A346. There are a few of details on the initial page that are now out of day and I am sure Pete will eventually update the info.
