Decided to book a limo for 10K for our arrival in MIA in November as it will take us all the way to our property in MCO, avoiding payments for hotel and car hire. We can also both drink champagne etc. on the flight without having to worry about driving.

The lady said that the booking was marked against our booking ref. and that no voucher or paperwork would be issued.

Is there anything else I should have or do before our arrival in MIA.

Thanks

Jilly

I'd just ask them to confirm the name and local telephone number of the service provider so you can ring them in the event of a no show rather than having to call flying club/UC reservations.

I don't think I've ever read on here though of CDCs not turning up.

Regards

What a cracking idea, I wouldn't have thought of that from Miami, however with the limited number of reward fares LGW-MCO it is well worth considering [y]

Thanks I've got the name of the local company which is Careys and their tel. no. just wanted to make sure I shouldn't have a voucher or separate booking ref.

Elaine - I won't drink all the champagne before you arrive.

Does anyone know who provides the CDC service here in UK, we've never used VS CDC's before but have them booked in a few weeks time. Like Jilly, was told by FC that we wouldn't receive any form of written confirmation. Anyone know who we call in the unlikely event the car doesn't turn up? I'm assuming that FC won't be open at 6.30am so I guess we need to call the company direct? In the past, eg. Emirates, I've been provided with details of who to call in the event of no show.

Thanks,

James

Many thanks Decker, I'll give FC a call to confirm number in case of no show. Not sure why they don't offer up this info as a matter of courtesy, when I asked she made a point of saying it shows on your booking & you don't need anything else, no confirmation details or anything!
