MILES+MONEY

I have checked two or three times over the last few weeks comparing fares off Virgins website and also the same fare as a miles + money option. The miles + money has always been more expensive.
eg. £578 PE fare in Feb. Same fare M+M £650+ 7500 miles? Surely this can`t be right. [?]
Has anyone else found this?

I tend to find that M+M fares only seem to be worth their while on heavily booked flights.

In your situation, it seems as if the dates you are looking at are still lightly booked and K fares are still available. I shy away from M+M given you don't earn Miles or TP's either, they never quite seem to be that good of an offer in my eyes....
