Looks to be the case. The return flight reflects the delay too. Wonder what is up.

And the 27 left nearly 2 hours late ... Wonder if they managed to move anyone from the 15 to the 27 ?

Might not be related, but some really bad storms are headed to the NYC area, maybe they didn't want to take risks.

Ooooh, I had best keep checking as I am due out on the 27 on Sunday morning. Thanks so much for posting that info, you are a gem, although I feel VERY sorry for the delayed pax.

I'm in the LGW Clubhouse and heard a call for VS115. I asked a staff member and they confirmed that VS15 was cancelled yesterday because of a cracked windscreen

Edited to add:

On board the crew told me they had managed to accommodate many passengers on VS 27 but they needed to get an aircraft over to MCO toaccommodate the large crowds returning after the half-term break

Not uncommon, but looks like the pax were lucky on this one. My in-laws were on VS037 a few months ago, and that had a cracked windscreen too. The were delayed for 12 hours while VS had a new screen shipped over from AMS [B)]. Got good compensation though, and they did get there in the end!
