Hi,

I have booked (over the phone) some reward travel out to LAX UC (my first UC experience[y]) seats 12 + 14A and back from Vegas in PE.
When asked, I requested seats 80 H and K and was told they are bulkhead seats and can not be pre booked so I settled for 79 A and C.
I have just checked my booking via the Virgin website and it will allow me to select 80 K+H.
The question is if I select these seats am I more likely to have my seats changed than if I stick with my original choice, or was the lady at Virgin wrong?

[:?] 80H&K don't qualify as bulkhead do they ? They are the last row of the upstairs PE section.

Selecting the 80s on the website won't alter your chances of having your seats changed. I think that is pretty minimal in PE unless the a/c type is changed, which is again unlikely on the LAS-LGW route.

Paul is correct - Row 80 is not a Bulkhead seat so you can pre-select it no problems. There are no PE seats on the upperdeck of the LGW/MAN a/c that are classed as a Bulkhead AFAIK, only exit rows.

On the LGW/MAN -400's row 80 HK are NOT bulkhead seats. They are in fact, just normal seats!

Row 70 A-K, however, ARE bulkhead seats.

Downstairs, row 81 A-K are bulkhead seats also.

I thought row 70 was an exit row - certainly is upstairs on 747 LHR anyway.

70 on LHR aircraft is exit row upstairs. LGW fleet is front row bulkhead upstairs. (the exit row upstairs on LGW planes is 75HK)
