Got a letter from VS today saying that from 29th October the VS006 will depart MIA at 19:40 and arrive back at LHR at 08:50. Just wondering why change the return flight but not the outbound? Surely its not very cost effective to have a plane sat on the tarmac for nearly 4 hours (actually it will probably be over 4 hours as the 2 times ive been to MIA, the VS005 has been a good 30-45 mins early)?

I was notified of this by VS early this week. Just a schedule change. Not always up to VS what times their flights operate.

I too got a letter from V Hols about this as well today.

The VS5/6 service does seem to get shifted about quite a lot. It's even had a London airport change in the past!!

Just as well my domestic flight from LHR is 12:25. Oh well less time in Revivals for me.

Regards

Thanks James, I hadn't been notified for my November return and just called Premier to make sure my return seats hadn't been changed.

It's now viewable on line again.

The change is due to landing slots at LHR. The move round is to accomodate the seasonal CPT service that starts on or round the 29/10/06.

I agree with you that it makes no sense to have the a/c in MIA for longer, however VS have no option unfortunately. :D

Not the first time this has changed this year. Used to be 18.30, then 19.25. Only a small change this time. I come back on VS006 on 17/9 at 19.25.

Won't we be back to GMT by end of October? Don't they usually adjust for that too?[?]

Anybody know if it will still be operated by an A346?
