JNB equipment change

Hello all,

I am going to be flying to JNB from LHR this Dec and already know that they have changed the plane from the A346 to the B747 as of Dec 1st.

I have already chosen my seats (9A - my first time in UCS...yay!!!) however wondering if it is possible to find out which range of 747's they have chosen for this route during that season.

I am trying to figure out whether I will get the 747's fitted with V:Port, or am I going to be stuck on an Odyssey plane.

Are there any friendly VS crew members out there who may have this information?

Hi Sascha,

One of the LHR config 744's will operate the service, subject to any last minute a/c swaps required by VS. The LHR equipped 744's all have V-port which is on demand entertainment. If you have a look through the Aircraft database on this site you will find the 744's marked up with LHR Suite...

It will be one of either HOT/WOW/ROC/BIG/FAB - they all have V-Port and 44 J seats.
