Hi All,

I wonder if anyone can help. I am looking at the seat map for my flight to Sydney on the virgin-atlantic website for next thursday and was wondering if they show the difference between a a340-400 config 1 and 2.

At the moment the seat map looks like a config 1 as the WC in UC is on the right of the plane, so have chosen seat 5a which is on the opposite site to the WC, to prevent pax traffic coming past me on the way to the WC.

Can anyone help or is it down to which plane is available at the time?

Thanks

BigDawg :)

Hi,

ISTBC but I am 99.9% certain all the A346's are now config 2

Hi,

It will more than likely be config 2, the difference is the loo is on the other side and it has more PE seats. There have been different threads on this, but I think the best seats are 2-6K as they are facing the wall. I have booked 2 & 3K all the way to SYD for my trip next year.

Hope this helps,

Dominic

I also believe that all A346 is config 2. Do an OLCI on the day so you will know which config you will have and also more seats will be released for selection.

In my experience, WC traffic isn't that bad and you shouldn't worry too much about it:D
