Am curious - is it your choice to fly out UC and back EC? We've often debated the pros and cons of travelling out one class anmd back another - sort of more awake and able to enjoy the pampering going out, but chance of stretching out is good coming back...

Anyone else find themselves on the horns of this dilemma???

Interestingly normally I've tended to PE out UC back but last time I came back PE and was MUCH more productive the next day. Seems that being denied unlimited alcohol is better for sleep/recuperation.

On long haul holidays espeically when i fly charters i always travel PE both ways. But if travelling with Virgin i normally fly Econ. (I am only about 5ft 3inc) so space is fine for me.

However since it is our wedding anniversary i thought i would upgrade on o/b to PE and because our friend was travelling also and wanted to try PE but alas my boss thought i had worked hard all year and upgraded me only to UC (result!)while my hubby and friend remain in PE.

If i can afford it i will always upgrade on outbound as you look forward to your holiday starting.I dont bother much with the coming home flight as i normally just go to sleep.

Hi all,

In a minor threadjack, I seem to be out of Expertflyer credit and I only need one search - is there a kind soul on this board with the Spirit of Christmas in their hearts who can do a capacity check on VS007, 30th November (i.e. tomorrow!) for me? :)

Thanks!

I would always go for UC outbound as coming back is a always a bit too depressing to fully indulge in UC.:D
