Amenity Kits?

OK after all the talk about VS pathetic kits , what airline actually has the best kit in business + first class and why? Could VS take the best of them without the BS and still not cost them a fortune?

nope - discussed VS one but not others , nothing when I searched on which one is the best, to be honest.

They should put M&Ms in them, lol.

I have been told that the JAL amenity pack contain a SMS translation guide...Of course VS do not need this because their FA's have already taken the test.

I want one that will sell for about £50 on ebay:D

Unfortunately, the most expensive kit on ebay at the moment is a BA F Anya Hindmarch at just £12.99, jaguarpig

I did get £35 for the beige Anya Hindmarch kit with the additional inserts a couple of years ago,the current kits I sold in October made approx £35 for 4 ,there is supposed to be a new one out very soon that pushes the price up[}:)]

I see an amenity kit market analyst among us!

I agree with Paul. We've certainly covered the amenity kit ground -- stamped and tramped on it a bit as well!

Nevertheless I would just say that I was amazed at the quality of the Alitalia "J" class kit on a recent flight from Newark to Rome. A square leather-cloaked box with a lid and magnetic clasp. Inside were all manner of creams, a good toothbrush and paste, and the ubiquitous socks/eyeshades/earplugs combination.

On the return flight, similiar contents were encased by a flexible fabric bag, but this one had the name "Bulgari" prominently displayed in gold lettering.

Wouldn't something similar, in the beautiful "Virgin Atlantic" red, be lovely, I thought. Still thinking that ...
