This may have been answered already, but Search is timing out on me..

Have the MMF conditions changed slightly ? When I tried to register my wife and daughter earlier this year I was told that because the out and return legs were in different classes (PE and E)I couldn't invite them to join FC.

Just interested...

As far as i know both legs need to be in the same cabin class, from the T&C's:

"3. For every person you refer who joins Flying Club, you will earn miles on the basis of the cabin in which they complete their first round trip with Virgin Atlantic: the following miles will be awarded: Economy 2,000 miles, Premium Economy 5,000 miles and Upper Class 10,000 miles".

Thanks,
Sarah

This is the one the search would have brought up, Paul. :)

Thanks, I knew it had been discussed lately. That reminded me that the reason I couldn't use MMF in the summer was that the Economy leg was in "N".

It would seem a bit odd though if you didn't get any credit at all for either leg if you chose to upgrade one ? Perhaps the miles rate in practice would be that related to the lowest class.

Thanks for the replies, appreciated as always.
