Virgin Poker Now Earns Miles!

Hi all,

Can't see this mentioned anywhere else yet, but on top of Virgin Casino already offering FC miles, their sister site Virgin Poker is now offering "V Points" for time and amount played which convert at 1:1 to FC miles.

The rates seem a lot more generous than casino play going by the chart found here:

Not a bad way to earn extra miles if you already play online poker

Yeah, I thought so too!

I'm very definitely a little fish (big blinds of 50p anyone?) but even such a modest outlay will earn me a fair few miles going by that chart!

If you follow the link, could someone tell me what MTT and STT mean.

I know the rules are explained and you can go and read all about playing the game, but it is so confusing to someone like me who has never played poker!

MTT - Multi-table tournament
STT - Single-table tournament

I.e. with a MTT, you might have 10 tables playing at the start, as people get knocked out eventually you'd end up with one table of players. With a STT, it's just the one table from the beginning.

Dragging up an old thread but....

I had the pleasure of talking to Dragonlady on the final table of the Virgin poker 'V-Points weekly tournament' last night.

With free entry and 100,000 FC miles up for grabs there must be a few other V-flyers entering. Has anyone won yet ?

transfer your v points this month to miles and you will get double miles this month only.

Made it to the final table tonight but busted out pretty quickly.

Not doing bad this week, managed to win a poker tournemant while on holiday in Vegas this week. Only $7,000 but very nice all the same.

Need to win the weekly v-poker a few times to get the miles to fly back now. No I'm not addicted now I've won...... well maybe a bit.

Thanks a lot Tina. I had not seen this promotion advertised anywhere. My 15,000 points for third place have appeared as 30,000 in my FC account.:D
