They certainly sound like die-hard BA fans! I don't think the club seat would be across the entire BA WW fleet by now?!

I think V.Port, Club House and maybe even the fact of new aircraft could help. Good look trying though, hope to see you on a VS flight soon. *Smile*

Also, Respec' Howard - Hilarious...

Nice post, Howard[y]

However, I think that virginpacific's last two posts were adequately eloquent. Granted there may have been the occasional noun in place of what one would assume should be a preposition and the odd missed out apostrophe, but I think we can all excuse the oddd grammatical error - even Decker;)[}:)]

BTW VirginPacific... did anyone welcome you?
Not only to "v-flyer the whole flying thing sorted", but also to your worst nightmare of an English grammar lesson.....
And when the protectors of the English Language on here really get started, they'll start quoting Latin as well[|:)]

See what I mean! Isn't that what's written on the side of the One Pound Coin?

If my memory serves me as I do not have a pound coin to hand, it is Decus et Tutamen that is written on the side of the coin.

Dulce et decorum est is from the latin poet Horace when he wrote

Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori [|:)]

Omigod - from Ali G to Horace. Where next?

and from Wilfred Owen

My friend
You would not tell
With such high zest
To children ardent for some desperate glory
The old lie
"Dulce et decorum est
pro patria mori"

to The Streets

"Momento mori"

Quite so Decker. My allusion was to the use of Latin being perhaps the highest, albeit uselss, form of language expression. We do however appear to be off topic - absit invidia.

(Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori - It is sweet and fitting to die for one's country)
(Decus et Tutamen - Decker and yet....?)

I wouldn't say a useless form of language expression.

Living and working in far flung places where the language is as far removed from our latin roots as it is possible to be, you soon realise how much even a basic grasp of the latin roots of the english language helps you at least make a guess at the meaning of things in other European languages, not so in Korean or Chinese
