Would this work ?
1/Sign up for AMEX white card use for 1 month and collect bonus points then cancel card.
2/Then sign up for Black card and collect bonus points.[}:)]

I think this may be worth a try.

Probably wouldn't work as both issued by MBNA.If you take out one card ,cancel after a short time and then re-apply for a further card with the same issuer, the secondary application is usually declined.IMHO decide which card you want and stick with it.
