We are travelling to Boston next Tuesday Premium Economy, we were wondering if there was anywhere within th terminal that would be a quiet spot to sit & pass the time.

Did wonder about a airport lounge, but sadly flying PE does not grant access to the CH;) anyway, I can't sit still long enough as i always want to wander, but he wife does!

I'm sure there was a post some time back about such an area but cannot find it using the search facility.

Any thoughts would be gladly received.

hmmm its not easy at LHR, as all pax are held in that horrible waiting area with all the tempting shops for us to spend out pennies and gates are not put on the screens until nrly boarding time.

Can you not purchase access to another lounge (Servisair etc) for a small fee?

Neil:)

T3 and quiet are not terms I would normally expect to see juxtaposed.

Did you book through VH ? If so you try and buy a CH pass through the website (sorry, heresy I know for the true FF Au card holders..)

I would go to Chez Gerard and ask for a quiet table and have a nice meal there - its about the only choice thats not a lounge and the meal will beat the PE meal and let you sleep on the plane :-)

As others have suggested. Either one of the resteraunts or pay in advance for soemething like the Servisair lounge. But you won't get much in the way of food in these lounges, certainly nothing like the CH !!

I second the Chez Gerrard suggestion...seems the quietest spot in T3 departure hall, probably due to the table service. Used it a few times recently - for the same price as a lounge pass you can get a nice meal and a couple of drinks [y]

I'd try and buy entrance to a lounge. Do you have priority pass or anything?
