Hmm don't know about that, it's March 3rd, so I doubt we'll be clear enough of Chelsea by then, although all this Mourinho talk seems to be unsettling them, plus a lack of centre backs. I'd be surprised if they don't sign a defender during January.

VS075, you can seek immediate relief for your serious addiction to crack cocaine here, you poor, deluded creature.

As for my dear Merseyside friends today, a very sincere THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU [^][^][^][^][^][^]. Now go slide back in the mid-table where you belong. [}:)]

Tomorrow will be a glorious Man U victory over France. Yeah!!!

GJ

I swear that only the poor people of Manchester who support Man Ure take crack cocaine! How dare you accuse me of taking crack cocaine, up the Ar£enal tomorrow!

Cash bribe will go towards my insurance for my car.

My dear, I insinuated neither where nor when you take crack cocaine, only that as a Liverpool supporter you must take it. [:p]

Anyway, let us take a step back from the precipice of football battling and heal our wounds with the bandages of France's defeat tomorrow. Let us not make war but instead love. Let us sit down with friends and families and watch France sink beneath the red tided waves tomorrow.

GJ

You're on thin ice boyo about the crack cocaine thing!

What happened against the Ar*e? We gave you the golden chance to extend the lead over Chelsea and you go blow it!

Consider yourselves completely withered! :D

After Glen Johnson for Chelsea against Newcastle last season, John Terry for Chelsea against Reading this season and Phil Jagielka for Sheffield Utd this season, I always wondered who Man U would choose for an outfield player to go in goal in an emergency - now we know it's the mighty(ish) John O'Shea [:p]

Off the terraces -

"We all agree - O'Shea is better than Robbo"

"You'll never beat O'Shea!"

"Ireland Ireland's Number One"

"O'Shea in goal - and having a laff"!!

Top entertainment this afternoon at White Hart Lane.

And a new one - to the tune of The Automatics "Monster
- "Who's that coming over the hill, is it Nemanja? Is it Nemanja?"

Excellent day out [y]

And of course the other version Mark

"Who's that diving over a foot, is it Ronaldo? Is it Ronaldo?"

Great player but doesn't need to do that [n]

You should get down to Upton Park Mark, apart from beating you and the Arse we sadly look like a team who has thrown in the towel already

If someone was going to kick you I think you would dive over their foot too!!! And does Larsson Get a penalty when he is blatantly hacked down - no?? Referees and officials are just getting worse.

And out of interest Tottenham showed the Ronaldo incident at half time - not very clever!!

Totally agree! Although I am a Liverpool fan I have to say it will be the dives and other controversies hes caused that most people will remember him by rather than his footballing brilliance. The Mancs will have something to say about this no doubt!

You are quite right - yesterday's papers were full of his skill and all round contribution - and if you think that its only Ronaldo who is supposed to "dive" then take a look at the saintly Michael Owen or that nice Steven Gerrard( when playing for England - not sure which game but the opposition player is nowhere near him)

Playing at that speed if someone puts out a foot in the box then the chances are you are either gonna jump over it and fall or let it catch you and fall!!

And as for "other controversies", Ryan Giggs did a great interview in the Sunday Times this week and Rooney and Ronaldo are the two pranksters in the dressing room and best of mates - international football will always pit team mates against each other - and suprise suprise - they just get on with it!! Personally I do want to see Ronaldo score for Portugal past Ben Foster or whatever - so thats why I follow my club team and not England!!

Anyway - Footballer of the year this year has to be Paul Scholes - a man who quietly goes about his business without all the trappings and goings on of the modern footballer!! ( and yes I know he cant tackle!!)

Saturday 3rd March Liverpool v Manchester United K.O. 12:45

Well this is the game that I always scan my fixture list for every season.

I go every season and its just not enjoyable unless we win!! It's a major pain in the arse if we lose any game - but this one hurts the most!! Although to be fair we haven't lost in the league here since 2001 - but the scallies do have a great home record in recent times!!

Ah well - nerves frayed and nails bitten - may the best team win ( as long as it's us!!)[y]

Should be an interesting game. United have been good all round in the league but Liverpool's home record is among the best in the league so it could swing either way...in fact it wouldn't surprise me if it ended in a draw or a big brawl broke out.

Still it'll be something to talk about on the coach down to Disneyland Paris with my mates tomorrow night.
