G-VATL. Atlantic Angel????

Hello fellow VFLYERS,

I was looking through the fact sheets on VA website. I was checking the aircraft fact sheet and apparently VATL is called Atlantic Angel. Was this her origional name or was it ment to be her name before miss kitty came along?

I noticed this quite some time ago and just thought that it was a mistake.

While on the subject of the fact sheets (under routes fact sheets) it claims that the new Mauritius route will depart from Heathrow not Gatwick.

VS changed G-VATL's name to 'Miss Kitty' as she was brought into service when VS were celebrating the Wright Brothers anniversary and 100 years of flying back in 2003. Miss Kitty comes from Kitty Hawk which is where the Wright Brothers first powered aircraft took flight in 1903.
