Does anybody know do they supply childrens meals in UC, or would they be the same as they serve in economy? don't know whether to book a childs meal or let them take their chances with the menu [:?]
I think whether a child could go for the main menu is a bit hit and miss.
I've seen situations where a kid doesn't like the "adult selections" from the main menu, and so all they eat on the flight is the bread, sometimes the cheese, and lots of desserts. I've seen the crew also assemble a kid-friendly pasta meal from Y meals.
Some of it probably depends on what the child is used to eating as part of their normal day-to-day diet.
If it's all fast food, convenience foods like pizzas, and things like spaghetti, then they probably won't like the Upper Class menu. If the child is used to eating adult meals with the rest of their family, then you may find they enjoy dishes from the main menu.
I believe you can order kids meals in Upper Class. There has been debate on here before whether the Upper Class SPMLs are the same as in the other cabins, just re-plated on J flatware, or are different.
Any of our friendly resident Senior CC members or FSMs able to answer?
Cheers!
