Nope, sorry, confused again. Is that a question (as in "can I bring my...") or a statement (as in "It means if I...")? Surely it cannot be the former as the answer had already been provided. Yet neither can it be the latter as it is wrong and contradicts an earlier post. I guess GJ's post earlier on correctly summarised the OP.

All I was able to see to the right of the "porsche911" in bold on my screen was "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah"...

Did I miss something?

I would say that is a coding error Preiffer. What was the error message exactly? Was it this one?

Ok, I've read this thread most days, but I now wonder if it should be moved into the 'members only' area. I just had the experience of showing the site to an interested party, and he clicked on this thread with interest. After reading it he turned to me and asked if I was joking, was this a 'fan' site or just a joke I was sharing with him? [:0] (He doesn't read FT, or he'd know this was mild!)

I know this atarted out with what seemed to be an innocent question, but some of the answers don't reflect well on V-flyer in general, at least as casual surfers to this site are concerned. I am not saying I don't approve of some of the answers, or the reason(s) they were given, but it might be more appropriate to keep this sort of banter to non-public areas. I doubt I'll ever be able to mention V-flyer to the poor man again. I seriously doubt I could ever talk him into a future membership. [:(]

Perhaps moving this to the CH might be wise? Mods?

I'd be in support of a move of this thread and a possible lock altogether judging by the way it has gone;)

Oh GrinningJack(ass) , your such a smart and courteous gentleman - I could respond with some comments that would only stir it up so I wont. As they say in your beloved country , "have a nice day".

If we cannot behave a little more civilly towards one another in this thread I will lock it. Whilst a little friendly mickey taking is to be appreciated and enjoyed, we can't let it go beyond that! Please sharpen up your act, you know who I am talking to.

I beg your pardon. Your love of soccer and Little Britain, your place of education and penchant for spotted dick had led me to the conclusion that you were an Englishman abroad. And now by calling me Darling I guess we can imply you are a Blackadder fan too.

I wonder if it was you or me Bazz was referring to? Have we been rude to each other today?

I was also under the impression you were from England, GJ[:I]

Maybe a bit more "y'all" etc. would reinforce your origins;)

Keith,

You're right!:D This site is not about arguing, pi$$ing people off etc. However, I'm sure that by now you have come to realise the type of attitude and etiquette that is expected of participants on v-flyer. Consequently, I think that both the site and your enjoyment of it would be greatly enhanced by adherence to these expectations. I can think of several occassions when your topics have caused tension; most with a recurring point of argument i.e. repetitiveness. You must have picked up on this. To this end, I would hope that you show a bit more discretion and elegance with your topic postings from now on, taking into account the expected level of "netiquette" on v-flyer.
Consequently, I belive that your enjoyment of the site would be vastly increased if you were not forever having to argue with other members which, frankly, is not what v-flyer is about.

I hope I've been able to make my point well with this post and have not caused too much distress among fellow v-flyers[8D]
This is not a rant at you, Keith, I just feel that there is no need for all this contention on v-flyer.
