Hello

Landed back on Sunday morning, our first holiday in UC... WOW...!!!!

I have caught the bug and would like to travel this way again if possible. We have booked a flydrive with Virgin Holidays and we are currently in PE both ways. Can I use the miles I have accumulated to upgrade to UC and if so, how do I go about doing this?

Sorry if this question has already been asked before. I did perform a search but to no avail. (maybe I should have entered in the right keywords..??[:w][}:)][:I][:I]

Any help gratefully received.

Nope, sorry - VH don't book their tickets in the correct fare buckets. Please see this FAQ

Hi Sarah - as Michael has already said, its a no go for upgrading a VH booking with miles - you really only have 2 options if you still want to fly UCS. Upgrade for money with VH, it will be about £400/500 per sector to upgrade from PE depending on the route, or you can try your luck at the airport on the day of travel, this is likely to be a bit cheaper but you run the risk of their being no UCS seats available (this is more likely on the LGW/MAN flights as there are very few UCS seats on these a/c)

As you will now probably find in the future, it is likely to book your UC flights direct with VS and your accom with VH or A N Other.

Neil:)
