The Y page has now been updated on the VS site. and it states that v-port is being rolled out across the fleet. hope this means the gatwick metal will be done too.

if this is true do you think it will be done at the same time as the new seats are installed??

Heh. that message has been there for as long as we can remember.

From what I'm guessing, I doubt they will.

But please, surprise me VS.

Wishful thinking, the V-Port roll out has been discussed quite a few times now in many different threads, and all seem come to the same conclusion, which is that it is highly unlikely V-Port will be added to the current LGW a/c.

The Economy page on the VS site is still down, so either they had it up and are making some more changes or there is just a techinal glitch stopping it working at the mo. Apart from the new Seat, which we have all seen anyways, AFAIK there aren't any other major changes to get too excited about.

I can still view this page on the VS web site, which looks like the existing economy [?]

It also has the famous V:Port quote:

And, rolling out across the fleet, is the very latest video on-demand, which means you can pause, fast forward or rewind, just like at home

....which does seem to be appearing more and more now over the last few weeks in marketing info and on the VS web site.

Hmmm, thats very strange James, when I click your link the page works fine, but when I click the Economy link on this page of the VS site, it brings up an error message, have even tried typing the url in and still I just get the error message...how strange.

Someone needs to tell VS to stick to what they say! Splash the cash and continue with the roll out! Lieing is a bad thing.

VFLY wants V:PORT as standard.

Those models seem to be using the lip balm that used to be in the Y pack many years ago- perhaps its coming back :-)

I doubt it, more like out-of-date pics, as some of the Upper Class pics still show J2000 seats and a J2000 B744 bar!!
