Hi guys I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with a little info on the Clubhouse at Gatwick. I am flying to MCO on 8 June 07 PE both ways, am I allowed to use the clubhouse facilities and roughly what is the cost and what is included in that fee. I am only a FC red member.

Ohhh and if anyone knows what "fast track" through security is and would I qualify to use that, that info would be great too. :D

To answer all your questions with one word...I am sorry to say the answer is NO.

The clubhouse is for the use of Upper Class pax, Gold Card holders and pax who bought packages through Virgin Holidays then paid extra to get into the club house.

Fast track is a security line that some airlines give their premium pax access to, it is mostly used for business and first class and high level card holders only.

Hi and welcome to V-Flyer

Scrooge is absolutely correct about entry to the Gatwick Clubhouse being Upper Class, Gold or paid entry when on a Virgin Holiday.

ISTBC but I think LGW is an exception on the Fastrack sticker with PE to allow you through secuirty. On my recent passage through Gatwick to go to MCO I had the Fast track sticker and this was the case sometime in the past before the Fastrack was closed.

A word of warning on the Fastrack though, it is also used by assisted passengers and there is only one scanner so at times using the regular lines can be just as quick.

Have a great time on your flight and don't forget your TR

IIRC gold card holders get a fast track sticker as one of the perks, hence you getting a sticker when booked in PE.

I know we've never had fast track stickers on our PE tickets when we've been through LGW.

We had Fast Track stickers when we flew PE to Havana earlier this month. Used Twilight Check-in on that occasion.

There have been a few reports on The Dibb of PE pax being fastracked at LGW.

Thanks for all your replies guys, I might just make an equiry about fast track when we check in, hopefully we will be doing twilight check in.

It seems a bit silly to me that VH customers get an option to pay to use the clubhouse at LGW when VH is a sister company yet my flights were booked with VA and no such option is avaliable, at least not one that I can find. [n]

It is a much discussed topic here. I think you will find that, even through VH, Clubhouse access is always on a 'space available' basis and people who have tried to buy it through the website have been offered the Servisair lounges as a (cheaper) alternative.

Also, as mentioned above, you have to but a complete package through VH to qualify - not just flights.

I've tried a few times to buy CH access when taking a VH package from LGW and it has never been available.

Never had a problem getting CH access at either LGW or LHR when booking a flydrive/package with VH :)

Just a quick note to ask has the menu changed in Gatwick or the same as last year?
