I know its a bit of strange one but has anyone had any experience of Virgin Insurance??
They have quoted me a very good price on my car insurance, and wanted to know if anyone has any experience of them.
Also do you get any flying miles for taking out a policy ??
Hope you don't mind me posting this on here......

I looked into Virgin Car Insurance a while ago and found they were not that cheap for me, one thing I do know is that you don't earn FC miles by taking out one of their products (unless you pay on your VS amex of course!)

The loyalty works the other way round - if you are a CC holder you get a discount off the policy (rather than accruing miles). I still have mortgage protection insurance from Virgin (although the policy has since transferred to Windsor Life). I did have home and contents insurance but found this year that Direct Line beat them hands down. Don't know what their claims performance is like though.

The discount is not for Flying Club members, but for people who have a Virgin Credit Card, which enables discounts on quite a lot of the Virgin brand products etc (I got 10% of my PS3 the other day because I paid on my Virgin Amex at Virgin Megastores!)

Here are the details of all the discounts available to Virgin CC holders.

Hi Tom

If you read my post again you'll see it says "if you are a CC holder you get a discount off the policy" - CC being credit card (the Virgin bit being implied) not Flying Club - sorry if this confused you.
