I confess to the fact that I am a regular visitor to MAN for photogrpahy of aircraft. I have a good collection of pictures including VS 747s of course and have been building it up since the Summer.
My routine is as follows...
Arrive by train and head to T1 Level 13 car park for photting for an hour at the Spectators Terrace there
Take bus to Aviation Viewing Park (cargo centre then walk to AVP if weekday) and spend few hours there inc. lunch (lovely burgers there I must add, resting place of G-BOAC)
Anyway in case anyones interested MAN have now shut off T1 Level 13 car park for expansion work and the Spectators Terrace has been closed off permanently to make way for more car parking spaces (why I don't know cos no-one parks up there anyway not even in Summer). Shame cos that's where I find out what VS a/c are on the MAN-MCO circuits thanks to a great view over the T2 apron.
