I would do the outbound in UC, this leg has both day and night flights in it so you're more likely to want to get some sleep.

On the return you follow the sun all the way. The crew will dim the lights and close the windows to try and make you think its a night flight but it is day out there. I did sleep onthis flight (more than the outbound for that matter) but felt like I needed it less.

The choice though, as they say, is yours.

cheers!

I would also say the outbound flight from LHR would be better in Upper to try and get some sleep.

Try not to sleep on the inbound flight from NRT to LHR as otherwise you might struggle to sleep the night you get home.

Defintely outbound in UC; plus you get the bonus of the CH (if you're not Au)
