Hello all.

As mentioned, I'm stuck in Bangkok (which isn't such a bad thing: Vertigo is quite possibly the most wonderful location for a bar ever!).

However, I need to book my next work flight to seoul for August.

I've found a VS flight to Narita (then onto seoul with ana or someone) but want to get the highest class possible so I can upgrade using miles

The flight is the 10th of august from LHR to Tokyo and returning the 18th of August. The fare, IIRC, was around £1400 (was £1700 via HK [:#] ).

If someone could let me know the class, that would be appreciated.

Kind regards

paul

The easiest option would be a quick call to FC Gold - give them your requirements and they'll be able to find the best solution.

Mat

The problem with that is that the 0800 number is not available outside the UK - as I know to my cost. Perhaps to the Premier Team (which is) or else use the Say No to 0870 website to the main switchboard and through to the Premier Team on that

To increase your chances of the right fare, Seoul via Shanghai on VS is a good option. There are numerous connections between Shanghai and Seoul every day that fit well with the VS flight times, and you can stay in the Shanghai area for 24 hours without needing a visa. So on the return I usually enjoy a night in Shanghai.

Didn't know about the 24 hours / visa thing! Ta for that. However, the marriot, or whatever hotel is close to shanghai really is a bit pants. The last time I stayed there, bearing in mind it was midnight when I arrived, there were two singers singing along with a god awful tape in the lobby. It sounded worse that a kareoke bar in clacton!

There appear to be different fares costs based around "fare rules" e.g. K fares at £1140 and £1340 - what is the difference in these please - do you know?

Thanks
