A work colleague of mine is planning to fly back to the UK next month and as he has to connect in Dubai, I have pursuaded him to try Virgin.
He tried to follow the link from my referral email via Virgin Atlantic, but the site kept giving him error messages and saying he lived in Edinburgh(???)
He emailed the technical people as per the error message and they replied saying that the system occasionally can't cope with certain data and creates postcodes because of this (WTF?) They assured him that this is a known problem and gave him a UK Lo-Call number to phone instead.
Unfortunately, he can't call it from here in Kuwait. (Damn government here!)
He has tried to email again and again, but can't seem to get a reply now.
He is now getting fed up, but I really could do with the referral miles.
Does anyone know a regular UK phone number he can call to sign-up?
It cannot be a National Rate or Lo-Call number though as we can't dial them.
