I'm looking at the seat map for the LGW suite 747-400 and these economy seats look like the best as they seem to be in their "own" cabin.

However, I read that they are reserved for those with disabilities. Is there a chance a block of 5 seats within this area might be available during online check-in?

Thanks!!

That area opens up 24 hours before departure, but not row 21. If you're quick off the mark you may get 5 together.

Thanks for your replies. My son does actually have cerebal palsy, so I might call Special Assistance and ask about these seats.

If they give the okay and request them for us - will this be updated on the "manage your flights" section on the website? Can I still check-in online or will I have to wait and check-in at the airport?

Thanks!

The seats wouldn't show on the manage my booking section as the rows are blanked out at that stage. If special assistance can help, then they will make a note on your booking and when you check in at the airport the seats should be reserved for you. Not sure on the OLCI bit but I imagine you would have to check in at the airport, but ask when your ring special assistance
