Hi All,

Just a quick one, just wondering after i have purchased my tickets in Upper Class (Z) can i pre book seat allocation by calling up Virgin Atlantic?

As i can do this with Malaysian Airlines.

Thanks,
Kenn.

Or manage your flight on the website using your booking reference number.

Thanks guys :) By the way will there be any reason for VS to change my pre booked seat allocation? As i heard some airlines do this!

Its unlikely that VS will do this but they cover themselves by saying they might have to! The main reason it happens is due to an a/c config change and then the computer just reassigns the seats automatically.

If there is a larger party, VIP or a pax who for medical or other reasons requires a specific seat (for example, one near an exit door or a bulkhead row) your seat may be changed. And as Neil said if there is a late aircraft substitution, which does happen, you could be aboard a 747 instead of a 346.

Thanks guys for the info. I'm going on the LHR-SFO route and also NRT-LHR. I believe the SFO flight is on a 744, and the NRT is a A346. Ayone experience an aircraft swap on these routes?

Very unusual for a/c type changes on those routes, usually happens on a route like NYC when it is operated by both a/c - only would happen if a tech problem etc, but can't say I remember it happening.
