Hi Guys,

Is VS901 (NRT-LHR) and also VS19 (LHR-SFO) classified as daytime flights?:) As i would love to get sleepsuits on these routes in UC :)

Thanks,
K.

I regularly fly Shanghai to London, which has similar timings to the Tokyo flight, and except in the darkest depths of winter is in daylight all the way.
However the crew insist on closing the window blinds, dimming the cabin lights and disappearing for extended periods, which annoys the hell out of me as I find the best way to adjust to the time difference in this direction is to stay awake in natural light.... So is it classed as daytime flight or not? - Well I did get a funny look when I asked for a sleep suit on the one and only time I flew UC in this direction.

yes I got one and so did many others, but it just seemed to be treated as an odd request - especially as they later insisted on blinds being closed and lights being dimmed.
