I can't get a straight answer out of VS..go figure..ask one person get one answer and so on...

Anyways...I understand that you can only head east or west..we are heading east LAX/SFO - LHR..but I was thinking of throwing in a LHR - JNB or CPT flight for giggles..and can't get an answer if a round trip is allowed as this is South-North..then continue on our merry way east.

Anyone have a clue..or when it comes time to book it should I just hunt for an agent that agrees to book it [:I]

Isn't it purely down to the number of MPM? (Maximum Permitted Miles) on the RTW ticket you have?

I wish it was that simple//the Great Escapade is mileage based..however we are looking at doing the Virgin/Thai thing which is route based.

If it comes down to it we could do JNB - BKK..but I am a miles whore and theextra miles from the UC JNB - LHR flight might come in handy on day.

We are on a Great Escapade ticket heading west later this year and the final legs are SIN - JNB - NBO - LHR. So I think LHR - JNB would be considered going east.
