Bear in mind you only earn miles on PRE-ORDERED duty free. Items purchased there and then, onboard, earn nothing.

Sorry to put the damper on this but I thought you only earn miles on pre-orders made by calling VS before you fly and picking-up on either/both legs of your flights, not pre-ordering on your out-bound flight to collect on your inbound [:?]

Nope - I ALWAYS do it on the outbound, just give them your FC number at the time and when they put it in the machine to take payment, it asks for it anyway. ANY pre-order applies, where you place the order is irrelevant.

Mine usually credit in 4/5 days. (Sometimes, it's even happened before the inbound when I've picked the order up! [:0])

No, G-VROY, you're absolutely fine. See post above.

I've never called to order, ALWAYS onboard, and ALWAYS the machine's asked for a FC Number at the time. You can also send in your "stub" of the receipt afterwards if they don't credit within a couple weeks.

As I say, where/how/when you place the pre-order is irrelevant in terms of FC miles eligibility. As long as it's a pre-order, you're fine.

You have to remember that the Duty Free operation is not adminsitered by VS, it is done by Tourvest.

Thanks,
