Charging for baggage

Can anyone tell me whether Virgin will be going down the same road as BA and charging for extra luggage we all bring back from the US? I have always come back with an extra bag that goes in the hold and up until now there has been no problem as long as it isn't overweight. I am off to the States end of April and I have some serious shopping to do in Palm Springs !!!!!:D

have a look at this thread in the BA forum, where the subject is discussed in detail.

BA have not introduced the charge on transatlantic flights and may have back tracked a little more on its introduction.

No one knows if VS will follow suit, but I think your shopping trip will be safe.
