Unless I'm missing something I cannot see how I can pre-book treatments in the CH for our forthcoming trip to Dubai. Is there an on-line facility for this or do I need to call VA? if so, is there a list of what is available so I don't give myself away as a CH (and UC) virgin!

Excellent thanks, all booked, SWMBO is having her eyebrows done, I'm getting a shave and my daughter a haircut. They were even good enough to call and query my booking for a shave, I'd asked for today rather than next Friday!

I had assumed the treatments were all complimentary but my wife just raised the subject and now I'm wondering! Are all the treatments free or do some warrant a charge?

And you can also pre-book/order the various things the Bumble + Bumble salon sells; including Floyd!

All normal treatments are complimentary, but tips are at your own discretion.

There have been a few discussions here, I think most people using the CH leave a tip, but some don't.

Would it be in acceptable manners to drink while getting your treatment? Are drink allowed near the hot tub?

I'd say no, to both cases.

Depends what treatment you are having. I have been known to partake in a glass of bubbly or a Mojito whilst having my barnet trimmed. If you are having a Cowshed massage or shave then i'd think it were a bit impractical to take a drink along.

Thanks,
Sarah

I have always taken Mrs JP a glass of fizz when she is being coiffured.

I quite often have a glass of champagne with my haircut, but I wouldn't consider taking a drink into any other treatment (eg, manicure!).

Glassware in the hot tub area is expressly forbidden. I have considered bringing airside my own plastic glass (you know, the ones they do in Waitrose/John Lewis) with my swimwear. But what do you do if you want a top up? Wondering wet through to the bar with goggles, snorkel and flippers would make a great photo opportunity I suppose.
