PE Upgrade at check in

Being a virgin on Virgin, are there any V-Flyers out there who know if PE upgrades can be purchased at check in if loads are light? I think I've heard that you can for about £150.00

you should be able to purchase them on the day as you mention, so long as it isn't full in PE. You can either ask at check-in or it might be easier to ask at the ticket desk, then you can check-in using the premium economy desks and save some time.

I'd budget for more than £150 - it depends on route, and what fare class your current economy ticket is in, and they start at £230 one way, upto £380.
