Booking reward flights - Pleasantly Surprised

Well, I just booked a reward flight to burn some miles (LHR-JFK and back, econ out, UC back in July). I was expecting it to be a painful experience, however I have to congratulate VS on their online booking. Until now all of my flights have been booked through the company travel centre - well done VS!

I will also be flying Delta (assuming they don't go bust any time soon!) from JFK to SEA and back for a few days. How happy was I to discover they are a FC partner [^]

I read in the USA Today a few days back that Delta were going to share a $720m (ish) bonus with all their staff, as they are about to emerge from Chapter 11.

I saw a quick item on the BBC World news ticker this morning stating that Delta hope to 'emerge from Chapter 11 sooner than planned'.
