Really confused, in every UC trip report I read where a Oswald Boetang amenity pack is mentioned it always say cufflinks, now my query is do Virgin think that all UC pax are ment? what about the ladies? I find it very strange, say for instance on a LGW config plane there are 14 suites, surely they know in advance whether a man, women or child are occupying them seats and appropriately different packs should be on relevant seats. At the end of the day I would have paid the same as a man to travel, so why should I be given cufflinks, when I am sure if the packs contained lovely lipstick holders the male UC travellers would have something to say about it.

Have a chat to Sarah; we spent a great deal of time not that long ago procuring a number of shirts for her which would accomodate cufflinks. True class in my opinion, looks very professional!

Well given that the Oswald Boateng amenity kits are no more it is a bit of a moot point, but at the height of their lifespan key rings and also a rather dinky little mirror were on offer as well. Alas however I got only one mirror, two key rings and about 3-4 cufflinks which made great pressies.

When they were reprieved during the Scrooge pack furore, they only seemed to contain cufflinks and I for one led the outcry against this. [V]

In every terminl, there's a Thomas Pink, purveyor of rather fine shirts for both blokes and ladies.

Many of their shirts take cufflinks, and they do look rather good!

They certainly do, though some of the prices are a bit extreme. over in the US, they were very expensive as they are a 'British' brand, just like Ben Sherman shirts are silly money. They do have outlets in Swindon and Bicester that are well worth a visit though.

Thanks,
Richard

This was one of the main customer complaints about the OB packs, according to someone at VS.

As HoneyLamb says, not every OB kit had cufflinks in, but the vast majority did. A sexist point? Perhaps, but genuinely reflective of typical traveller gender i would think.

Thanks,
Sarah
