Hello

Does anyone know if UC PAXs can still use the US Airways revivals lounge at Gatwick? Premier team says yes but a colleague at work tried to use it last week and was turned away.

Many thanks

I used it 6 weeks ago flying in on p/e and all the lady on the desk did was phone VA to check golds were allowed.

It was very quiet though, but that didn't seem to matter.

Flying club gold members and those travelling in Upper Class are eliable to use the revivals lounge. However I think you need to check the fare type you are on. As example if you are on a Z class restricted U/C fare then some of the benefits are not allowed, limo and I think revivals, if you are not a Gold F/C member. This is certainly true of other revivals lounges. The best thing to do is get the staff at the US airways lounge to ring the virgin folks and get the OK. Another solution is to pop into the Y0-hotel pod on the same level. You pay by the hour but if you have plenty of time, you can sleep and shower and its a pretty cool experience.

All Upper Class and FC Gold passengers are entitled to use Revivals, regardless of whether you are on a revenue or reward fare.

Thanks,

Many thanks for your reply's, I'am personally not going to use the lounge but have passed the relevant info on. I have seen the Yotel but have yet to sample the experience.

Cheers

For the avoidance of any doubt, I used the US Airways Lounge on my return from MCO earlier this week.

I merely showed my UC Boarding Card and was promptly greeted by name and shown to a shower room.

Very quiet at 8am - I was the only pax in there

And where was Mrs buns, pray? [:(!] Don't tell me you left her waiting outside while you luxuriated in a hot shower? [V]
