With David Neeleman being pushed out at JetBlue I think he would be the perfect fit to start up VX.

What he specializes in is start up's.

Morris air

WestJet

JetBlue

A good list of great airlines.

There is also history between himself and SRB.

When the idea of Virgin opening up a US airline first raised it's head SRB approached David Neeleman about running it.Due to the no completion clause he sign after SouthWest bought Morris he could not work for an airline in the US.

However the talks between himself and SRB are long thought to have been the basic outline for Jetblue.

Now this guy is very good at running a start up, as we have seen (feb) long term he may not be the best, but short term I can't think of anyone better.

Interesting theory.

It would probably be good for VX if they snagged him.

I saw something posted (I can't seem to find it now), that said Neeleman was going to remain on the board at JetBlue, if this is the case I doubt we'd see him at VX.

Now if he did leave B6 all together then he would be a good fit for VX.

He is going to bethe non-exec chairman..means he is a figure head..has no say in the running of the company.
