This question regards flight VS11 on July 12, departing LHR to BOS. The flight was delayed four hours and as a gesture of kindness Virgin gave out a letter that said everyone will be credited 10,000 miles because of the situation. I was wondering if anyone knows when these miles will be credited or any other information about experiences like this in the past. Also was anyone on that flight?

Thanks again in advance!

Did you get a form to fill in and return to Flying Club?

I had something similar with faulty IFE and about a week after sending my form back to FC i got the miles credited to my account.

We were delayed going to jfk at easter for a couple of hours.I noticed PAX on our flight being called from the clubhouse to the desk we never got called. A pax in UC told me they were credited 10k miles for the delay.About 2 days after our return 10k miles appeared in our accounts as a customer relations bonus we filed in no forms obviously it was done automaticaly from VSFC numbers in the system. With problems on board(seat IFE) I have filled in a form and the miles showed as Customer relations bonus also quickly.

Thanks for everybody's help. I called up Virgin Customer Service and they credited 10,000 miles to my account! Yea :), since 10,000 is quite a lot!

Thanks again!
